Boston Blotter: Shooting at Dorchester Block Party

Jason Aparicio, 23, allegedly held a man at gunpoint and used his .45-caliber semiautomatic to carjack a 2005 Nissan Altima to escape police who had approached him under the suspicion that he was armed. He was arrested after breaking his leg during a subsequent foot chase and faces numerous charges. [Herald]

-- MBTA police nabbed a creep who allegedly robbed a man bound to a wheelchair by ALS. Scott A. Marra, 39, of Malden, faces accusations that he played good Samaritan before stealing the victim's wallet and fleeing.
