Every week Bostonist's videos go viral for your viewing pleasure.
This week we revisit a favorite viral video genre: children reenacting historic events. As with the previously featured "Boston Massacare" Emily's, Eric's, and Peter's "semi-non fictional reenactment of the Boston Tea Party" using Legos and kitchen supplies has a few head scratching moments.
"It was a dark and stormy night" when the Boston Tea party happened in 1180 (as indicated by birthday candles) "we think, though probably not." The evil British Lego man sits drinking his "wine thingy of tea" while Paul Revere comes from "the land of the peanut butter and jelly Boston."
"How do we know this is Boston? There are cannolis!"
There's even a Director's Cut and a moral at the end to complete this "semi-non fictional" story.
[Warning to those sensitive to flashing lights, this Boston Tea Party was filmed in rave-party lighting conditions.]
