Boston Blotter: Is that a Hoax Device in Your Pants or Are You Just Happy to Rob Me?

102207-party-police.jpg-- A 50-year-old Melrose man faces charges that he stuffed his pants with a bunch of road flares, told a Revere bank teller that he had a bomb, and left a 72 word note instructing her to bring a bag of money into the bank's parking lot. The note, which was TL;DR, only prompted the teller to call the cops, who scooped up Bryan Sullivan and charged him with armed assault with intent to rob, assault with a dangerous weapon and possession of a hoax device. -- A Dorchester teen was arrested Tuesday night in connection with a pair of armed robberies. The 16-year-old, who was tracked down by Boston cops and one of his alleged victims, faces numerous charges. [BPDNews]

-- Police raided an East Somerville home last Tuesday after a stakeout nabbed them an alleged heroin dealer. [Somerville Journal]

All charges alleged until proven under law.
