Bostonist Style: When Baseball Meets Burberry

The most important part of looking good is feeling good, and when you do something good, you can’t help but look good in the end. Next week, Neiman Marcus at The Natick Collection will present Fall Into Fashion, a charity event with proceeds going to Kevin Youkilis’s Hits for Kids charity.

The fashion soiree will feature the fall collections of some of today’s best known designers. Everything from contemporary couture will be represented, with men's and women's clothing getting equal attention. Attendees will have a chance to win prizes that any fashionista should have, including Gucci sunglasses, a Tory Burch bag, and Rock & Republic jeans. For those of you looking for something other than clothing and accessories to spend your money on, there will be Red Sox items up for auction, including a chance to meet Kevin Youkilis, J.D. Drew, and Dustin Pedroia, as well as four tickets to that day’s game.

All of the money raised during the event will go to buy disadvantaged children everything they need to survive and thrive during their formative years, like winter clothes, food, books and art supplies. The Hits for Kids charity was started by Kevin Youkilis and his fiancée, Enza Sambataro, who wanted to make sure that all children get the proper care they deserve at home and in the classroom.

Tickets for this event are available now and can be purchased at YouksKids.org. It’s going to be the event to start the fall fashion season and everyone who’s anyone, including Bostonist, will be in attendance. See you on the runway!
