As a young professional living in Allston, I couldn't agree more with your response. I was actually infuriated this morning after reading the article feeling slightly helpless as some insta-wisdom new college graduate passed judgment on an entire community based on a few blocks of alcohol-fueled transients. Describing your experience is fine; lying for the sake of sensationalism and nailing that last 'correspondence' piece is just horrible. Enjoy your stay in the South End, Jennifer, where I am sure the grass is greener.
