Prosecutor accounts have revealed that the 17-year-old victim of the gunfire, Eric Parson, saved the life of his 4-year-old cousin, Ferris Glover, carrying the youngster to safety despite a bullet wound. -- More details have emerged in this morning's fatal shooting on the Boston waterfront. The victim was a 41-year-old Brockton father who police believe had been on the "Outrageous in Red" cruise, a reggae and hip-hop party that kicks off this weekend's Caribbean Festival. The man was apparently shot in a car parked in the Seaport parking lot, adjacent to to the Institute for Contemporary Art. Police warn that tensions may be high leading up to this weekend's festivities at Franklin Park. Last year, police used a coordinated helicopter surveillance to curb violence during the festival.
