Someone might want to tell Brooklyn-based Teletextile that their blog post advertising their "our last kick in the B-town for the summer" back in June was not quite accurate, since they'll be at the Middle East tomorrow night. Okay, okay--so the Middle East is in Cambridge, not Boston, but it's nearly the same thing. Regardless, we're glad that the band is back to give us more of its gentle, flowing ambient pop.

Pamela Martinez started the Pamela Martinez Band while at Berklee, and the group later evolved into Teletextile. Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Martinez collaborates with "electro-nerd" Brian Hamilton to form Teletextile. The band is often joined by other musically inclined friends who help make blissful music. New album Care Package showcases the group's delicate sound; get a preview of it live tomorrow night. Openers Jaggery are also worth a listen, playing dreamy underwater music that incorporates harp, theremin, and more. Make it out to the MidEast tomorrow for a transporting musical experience that'll relax you instead of rev you up.
