-- Caribbean Carnival weekend begins today at Franklin Park and continues tomorrow at Kendall Square. Expect to hear soca, reggae, hip hop and reggaetón, to see a hundred different flags and to taste the finest Caribbean street cuisine. We recommend the fish balls. Franklin Park, 1:00 p.m. Free.

Wine Dinners

-- Bostonist got schooled at the Second Glass's last Ivy League Wine College and would recommend the experience. Tonight, celebrate "New Year's Eve in August" with a three course meal and Prosecco. Sacco and Vanzetti
