  • Blame Canada! Our northern neighbors are considering a plan to drill for oil in Georges Bank, a fishing area shared with the U.S. that extends as far south as Cape Cod. [Boston Globe]
  • Water gun fights are popping up all over. The police moved in after 30 minutes of wet 'n wild warfare in the middle of an Allston intersection. [Boston Globe]
  • The Mister USA pageant took place at Lenox Hotel on Saturday night. Believe it or not, the outgoing beefcake-of-the-year was from Plymouth. [Boston Globe]

    i am sort of puzzled as to how there can be an outgoing mister USA if this is the "first-ever" contest of its nature?
