Every time that I see Delcarmen, and it is frequently, he can't seem to find the strike zone. Maybe 2-3 times a year he has a good few inning stretch but it's more like that old cliche about the blind squirrel and the acorn than it is about a pitcher finally finding control.

Delcarmen hasn't allowed a run in 12 of his last 15 games. Maybe that explains it. The starters seem more of an issue to me lately.

What a pathetic performance by a $25M cleanup hitter ... and we in Boston know about pathetic performances by $20M cleanup hitters in the clutch thanks to Manny. Two strikeouts, a popup, and two double plays - wow! As for the Red Sox, for the life of me, I don't understand how Francona has any confidence in Delcarmen. I expect the worst any time he comes out of the bullpen. I have confidence in Papelbon, some in Masterson and Okajima, and absolutely zero in Delcarmen.
