Boston Blotter: 4 Stabbed in North End, East Boston, Shooting in Somerville

-- A day earlier, on Saturday morning, an unrelated quadruple stabbing sent a quartet of East Boston teens to the hospital, two with life-threatening injuries. Police say that the victims were sitting on a stoop at 85 Trenton St. when they got into a shouting match with a group of passersby, who stabbed the youths. One arrest has been reported. [BPDNews]

-- A Somerville man was murdered yesterday at Mystic Projects, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds. The alleged assailant, a 20-year-old Roslindale man, was picked up by police this morning. [Somerville Journal]

-- Cops busted three thugs who allegedly lured a man into an armed robbery with the promise of a marijuana sale Saturday afternoon in Mattapan. The victim received a blow to the head, emphasized by the butt of a gun, and lost possession of his red scooter, according to police. The scooter was later returned to the victim; whether he eventually scored any drugs was left unclear. [BPDNews]
