Boston Blotter: Dorchester High Locked Down, Longfellow Bridge Bandits Nabbed

-- The bandits who stole the century old metal trim from the Longfellow Bridge have been caught, police say. The metal, 2,300 feet of it, had been removed from the bridge during renovations and stored in a Stoneham warehouse, where it was stolen. Authorities discovered the theft earlier this month and quickly nabbed two suspects, both state employees. [Herald]

-- Biking in Massachusetts may have gotten too easy. One bicyclist, evidently fond of long-distance excursions, is wanted in connection with three bank heists: in Weymouth, Shrewsbury, and Watertown.
