A faulty boiler was the apparent cause of elevated carbon monoxide levels (about 30 parts per million; up to 20 is considered safe) at Marion E. Zeh Elementary School, which was evacuated this morning after the CO alarms went off. The boiler room was ventilated and classes were expected to have resumed as normal by noon.
