Boston Blotter: East Boston Stabbing Victim Identified

Rafael Sandoval, a Chelsea man, died from a single stab wound early Sunday morning. No arrests have been made in the apparent murder, but Boston police report that eyewitnesses reported a dark-colored four-door sedan fleeing the scene. [BPDNews]

-- A 50-year-old Worcester man was allegedly caught inside a car parked on Yawkey Way last night, boosting a GPS system. [BPDNews]

-- A pair of apparent friends were arrested at McFadden's Pub on State Street after allegedly flying into a Sox-fueled rage after the team lost on Sunday night. [BPDNews]

-- A 38-year-old woman was found on Winthrop St. in Roxbury this morning suffering from life-threatening head trauma. [Herald]

-- The house fire that left 10 people homeless may have had arson as its cause. [Herald]

-- The brother of Liquarry Jefferson, the 8-year-old Roxbury boy who was accidentally shot dead last year, pleaded guilty in connection with the case. 16-year-old Liquary Jefferson will serve five years in juvenile detention; it was his illegal handgun that was used in Jefferson's killing.
