Tracking Clark Rockefeller on Comm Ave

Bostonist went to a wedding at the Algonquin Club, and there was one burning question on our mind: What did people think of the guy who called himself "Clark Rockefeller?"

Before the nutty German national (allegedly) kidnapped his daughter, he served on the Board of Directors at the Algonquin.

Since Bostonist doesn't have time to create a false high-society identity, we're not submitting our membership in the near future. In our first and last vist, we asked about a dozen of the staff to share their thoughts on Clark. Or Chris Chichester. Err, Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter?

After a string of "no comments," someone finally dished: "He was a weirdo. When you saw him coming, you'd want to walk the other way."
