Boston Blotter: Flash and Slash on the 23 Bus

crime_scene_tape.jpg-- Bus route 23, which runs from Ashmont in Dorchester to Ruggles in Roxbury, is no stranger to violence. Still, when Steven Phillips, a 32-year-old from Dorchester, allegedly stabbed two girls to whom he had allegedly and previously exposed himself, it might have set a new low. The latest on the case: The Suffolk County DA reports that Phillips is undergoing 20 days of psychiatric evaluation. [Globe]

-- A 19-year-old man from Roxbury was charged by police in connection with a Sunday stabbing. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. [BPDNews]

-- A Roslindale 15-year-old was charged with spraying his playmates with a BB gun after an alleged snitching. BPDNews]

-- A massive throw-down Sunday morning in Jamaica Plain ended with three arrested after they allegedly attacked police officers who had been summoned by noise complaints. [BPDNews]

All charges alleged until proven under law.
