Getting an infection at a hospital is very common. It's not that the surgery was done wrong. The infection damages the repaired area again. I can't think of a player that had two acl/mcl surgeries so close together. (Mr. Femia might know) That's a lot to come back from. I suppose Tom, if anyone, can recovery fully from this. I assume the NEP will have a lot to say to TB about a second acl/mcl surgery if needed.
