Boston Blotter: Man Shot Dead in Jamaica Plain

033107_body_outline.jpg-- Police have identified the man who was shot dead outside of his home on Rossmore Road in Jamaica Plain Saturday afternoon. Garibaldis Pena, 27, of Jamaica Plain, was pronounced dead at Boston Medical Center. Neighbors reported hearing three gunshots, which disrupted a lazy Saturday afternoon in the Forest Hills neighborhood. No motive has been advanced, and police have arrested no suspects. -- In Roxbury, Boston police arrested a 15-year-old after he allegedly stabbed a 14-year-old in a knife fight over a bicycle. BPDNews]

-- A roommate dispute turned bizarre in South Boston late last Thursday. Police intervened in the tiff after one roommate allegedly broke the thermostat to ensure that his ideal temperature was maintained for the rest of the evening. The suspect believed that his heat loving roommates were spies who were after him, according to police. [BPDNews]
