-- The Nor'Easter Film Festival unreels for the first time this afternoon. It's a showcase for New England area independent filmmakers (student or otherwise) to get some shine. Faking the Glam

-- Halloween fever has gripped the Hub's bands, who will be incognito tonight, performing the music of their favorite glam band. From Roxy Music to Ziggy Stardust (and, okay, New Order to Velvet Underground, which are both only glam by association), all the boas are covered.
