Boston Blotter: JP Man Murdered in Roxbury

033107_body_outline.jpg-- Keldrin Pena, a 20-year-old Jamaica Plain man, was shot to death Sunday morning while riding through Roxbury in the front passenger seat of a car. His companions, the driver and a second passenger, roll with the dreaded epithet "known to police," which might mean that the killing was gang-related. Boston police have suggested no motives, however, and no arrests have been made. [Globe; BPDNews]

-- Albert Arroyo, the Boston firefighter who was dismissed from duty earlier this year for weightlifting while disabled was arrested at Faulkner Hospital Sunday night for violating a restraining order. His 45-year-old ex-girlfriend has accused him of stalking her. [Herald]

-- An apparently drunken man arrested for being a disorderly person allegedly berated Boston cops for not "beat[ing his] ass" like Washington, D.C. police would have done. [BPDNews]
