Um I'm pretty sure the bus driver was a man. The bus driver's name is Donald P. Davison Jr. and further down in the story the bus driver is referred to as "he" - “It is the worst possible judgment that any bus driver can make,” he said. “It’s almost beyond words, that he would drop her off there."


Fixed! I must have been thinking about my mean bus driver in 6th grade...
