I'd also considered it, as I've just never actually witnessed a "mall tour," but forget that. I'll just wait to see the movie. But yes, I would think that safety is a concern all around - could you imagine having to be shuttled around everything just so people who say they love you don't wind up tearing you apart? Ugh.

I briefly considered going to this, since the Twilight ComicCon panel was so apocalyptically entertaining, but then I saw the San Francisco report and was like, "Oh, heeellll no." I'm kind of seriously afraid for the actors' safety at this point, honestly.
