After six straight wins - and that Atlanta win that still leaves us grinning like fools - the Celtics fell on Friday night to the Nuggets during play at the Garden. The Garden, we stress, given that we still can't get over that whole Vault business we noticed in the Globe recently.
The second and fourth quarters did the Celts in (they were outscored 25-13 and 30-20, respectively), despite a 26-point effort from Ray Allen, who turned it on after a rough Wednesday night. The Nuggets were bolstered by Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups, both of whom contributed 18 points to the winning cause.
The Bruins will work to keep the good times coming tonight - they face off against the Rangers tonight at 7 pm. Could the B's match the C's six straight wins?
