Boston Blotter: Gun-Toting Teen Busted in JP

102207-party-police.jpg-- Boston cops responding this morning to reports of trespassing teens at English High School in Jamaica Plain nabbed one trespasser, a 17-year-old from Dorchester, with a gun in his napsack, according to authorities. Four others were arrested on lesser charges. [BPDNews]

-- A man was stabbed outside of the Dorchester Courthouse Monday morning, receiving a slash to the face. The suspect, a 21-year-old Dorchester man, was charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and the rarely employed charge of mayhem. [BPDNews]

-- Dennis J. Hogan, a Boston firefighter on disability (not the one who is a bodybuilder), was arrested in Texas, allegedly trafficking a whopping 41 pounds of weed in his truck. Local jakes maintain that random drug testing is an unnecessary burden for our clean-cut fire crews. [Herald]

-- Ivan Latimore, the slamball player accused of beating sports reporter Julie Donaldson, allegedly stuffed evidence, a graphic and violent sex tape featuring him and Donaldson, down his pants. [Herald]

-- Family feuds are no longer an Appalachian thing. A Medford man brought his family, armed with a pipe and a knife, to attack a Somerville man in his home after the two had tussled in Ball Square, according to police. [Somerville Journal]
