Boston Viral Video Goes for a Viral Marketing Ride

Each week Bostonist is dedicated to bringing you the best Boston-based viral videos the internet has to offer.

Though since its initial viral debut this video's been proven a creation of an ad agency working for Activision, this video is the essence of viral: The kind you send to all you friends asking "have you seen this?!" and watch five times to figure out how it was done. (Hint: a bigger budget than they let on and a little CG.)

Unlike the Mooninite viral advertising disaster, it did not pose a major security threat to the city of Boston.

The debate rages on: Is this clip less cool knowing it was made by an advertising agency? Or awesome all the same?
