We're Going to Disney's (T-Accessible) World!

There's an urge for Disney that must be satisfied. Every second of every song from The Lion King is jammed into your head but you can't turn the DVD off because then the kids will get restless, they'll start itching for Orlando, inching towards the holy land, the world that Walt built. Which would be okay, but your paychecks disappear faster than Dory's memories in Finding Nemo.

The choices: 1. Get a second job singing backup for Sir Elton John. 2. Take your loved ones to see Disney on Ice at the TD Banknorth Garden.

The touring troupe is presenting the show "Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey," a dramatic mix of old school characters (Donald, Goofy, the famous mice) and new school favorites (The Little Mermaid, the aforementioned fish and lions, Lilo and Stitch.) And it's on ice. They'll all be skating. It's like a Bruins game, with less checking and better set design.

The show runs from December 26th through 30th at kid-friendly matinée hours, and the day after Christmas opening night performance features recession-friendly $15 seats. Tickets are available at the TD Banknorth ticket office and online at www.tdbanknorthgarden.com or www.disneyonice.com.
