Chocolate Factories
-- Somerville's Taza Chocolate is one of a handful of U.S. chocolate makers who make chocolate by hand. Taza follows traditional Mexican procedures, grinding chocolate beans in stone mills, to make its extremely delicious array of chocolate varieties. Hipsters and Their Toys and Worcester
-- Bostonist gets a lot of complaints when we don't run event announcements for Worcester, which is frequently. Here's one. POP Euphoria! is an orgy of vinyl hipster toys, comic books, and illustration where you are certain to find something for the otaku on your holiday shopping list. Disasters
-- Union Carbide caused the world's deadliest industrial accident in Bhopal, India 24 years ago, and the results are still being felt in the impoverished region. According to some figures, 25,000 people drink water polluted by the accident every day. Boston4Bhopal Coalition and MIT Amnesty International host a Benefit for Bhopal, featuring Bollywood dancing, tango, and Bharatanatyam. The recent tragedy in Mumbai will be mourned.
