Crypto-Stalinist, Serbian war crimes apologist, and all around unsavory character Ramsey Clark has been tapped to join City Councilor Chuck Turner's defense team, the Herald reports. Turner faces federal bribery charges, a far cry from the sorts of allegations that Clark is used to trying. His client list includes Saddam Hussein and alleged Serbian war criminal Radovan Karadžić. (Boston politics is rough, but not genocide-rough.) Clark, who once declared that "history will prove [Serbian president Slobodan] Milošević was right," served as U.S. Attorney General during the Johnson administration.
