Taking the T on NYE (and the morning after)

charlie-mbta.jpg So, we've given you plenty of New Year's Eve events to attend. Now it's time to tell you how to get there. The MBTA has released its New Year's Eve schedule. Rides after 8pm will be free; train service will be increased throughout the evening, plus extended until (gasp!) 2am. (Y'know, kinda like it should be all the time—or at least on weekends.) There will also be additional service on some bus lines. Given tomorrow's Winter Storm Warning and the toxins traditionally imbibed on NYE, it's probably a smart idea to take the T rather than drive. And if you end up crashing at someone else's place, be warned—the T will operate on a Sunday schedule on New Year's Day, meaning you might be waiting a while to take that bus ride of shame home. Full details at the MBTA site and after the jump.
