Boston Blotter: Shootings in Mattapan, Roxbury; "Joe" no Longer a Threat

-- Boston police arrested two men, Edward White, 23, of Boston and Joseph Warren, 20, of Somerville, in connection with a shooting that took place in Roxbury early Saturday morning. The victim was rushed to Brigham & Women's with non-life-threatening injuries. [BPDNews]

-- On Saturday night, Boston cops arrested Preston Jackson, the 42-year-old Boston man whom they say had been conducting a one-man armed robbery spree, once even being caught on tape. Jackson was arrested after holding up Bon Bon in the South End and was captured still holding the stick-up note, police say. [BPDNews]

-- Isaac Thornton, a 43-year-old former Boston cop, was arrested in Dorchester armed with an illegal gun and an illicit BPD badge, according to authorities. [Herald]
