Apocalypse on Peterborough St.: El Pelon, Others Burned to Ground

Bostonist's favorite local fish tacos were among the casualties when a 4-alarm fire ripped through Peterborough St. in the Fenway last night, burning several businesses, including beloved taco shop El Pelon, to the ground. 100 families were evacuated from their homes as firefighters put out the blaze. Damage from the fire is expected to reach $5 million. Two firefighters slipped on the ice, but no additional injuries were reported. [WBZ; Globe]
