Boston Blotter: Brockton Apartment Shootout Kills One

The gunman fled the scene in his car after police responded to the shootings and engaged cops in a high-velocity shoot-out. The incident came to a close when the gunman's car collided with that of a passerby, ending the getaway and sending the suspect to the hospital. Despite close calls, no police were reported injured.
