A tone-mapped image featuring two of Boston's most recognizable landmarks, the TD Banknorth Garden and the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge.
After giving a lot of thought to my first post as PotD editor for Bostonist, during which I came up with some really off-the-wall ideas, I decided that much like photography, it’s best to start with the basics. Here goes:
Hi, I’m Bradford. I’ll also answer to Brad (but not Bradley), polarbare, bare, bear and even Bradford Alan when I’m in trouble. I lived in North Carolina for 30 of my 33 years and moved to Boston 2 years ago. I married a MetroWest native and fell in love with the area during my first visit with her family 8 years ago. Boston has become more of a home to me in the last 2 years than North Carolina was in 30. I spend as much of my free time exploring and photographing the area as possible, and have met some great people that I think will be friends for life.
As the new PotD editor I hope to continue the great work that Korri Leigh has been doing for the past year. We’ll also be expanding our Flickr group with some contests and photography assignments, and whatever other fun ideas we come up with. I look forward to bringing you the fantastic images captured by Bostonist’s readers and in continuing to forge a great relationship with all of you.
