Boston Blotter: Mission Hill Samurai Nabbed, Seppuku Averted

-- A man, possibly ronin, armed with a samurai sword was captured by police this afternoon on Mission Hill. The man, who allegedly asked police to shoot him, had been spotted walking down Huntington Ave., around 2 p.m., waving the sword wildly. Before the altercation ended, he had smashed the windshield of a police cruiser with his weapon, according to authorities. [Herald]

-- Mario Mendez, the man who was allegedly caught on video during a New Year's shooting outside of Revolution bar, was captured in Chelsea last Thursday. [BPDNews]
