Bostonist Interview with Comedian Bill Burr from Tom Lewis on Vimeo.

Comedian Bill Burr was born in Canton and got his start in comedy in the clubs of Boston. You've seen him on "The Late Show With David Letterman", "Chapelle's Show", HBO, and Comedy Central. A regular fixture on the Opie and Anthony Show, Burr also produces a weekly podcast with fellow comedian Joe DeRosa, that everyone should have a subscription to.
He has relocated to LA by way of New York but he will be coming back to Boston for a pair of shows this Friday, February 6th, at The Wilbur Theater. For those who can't make a Friday show, or who can't get enough of Burr, or who live to the west of town, Burr will also be appearing at the Comedy Connection, located at the Hu Ke Lau in Chicopee on Saturday night.
Bostonist got a hilariously interactive tour of Hollywood from Burr last week: we saw comedy landmarks, Lakers propaganda, and ridiculously Californian eateries and retail spaces, riddled with Burr's completely unique perspective. Enjoy, comment, forward to friends, and definitely see Burr at one of his homecoming shows. If you've seen Burr's excellent 2008 DVD, Why Do I Do This?, get ready for an hour of completely new material.
