Boston Blotter: Shooting in JP, Stabbing in Dorchester

Blotter-Body-Outline.jpg -- A man was found shot Saturday night on McBride Street in Jamaica Plain. The 20-year-old suffered life threatening injuries. Police have made no arrests and have hinted at no motive for the shooting. [BPDNews]

-- Police arrested a man Sunday morning in a fatal Dorchester stabbing. Mario Gonzalez, 29, faces charges of murder in the death of a 38-year-old Dorchester woman. [BPDNews]

-- Kids got stabby again at the Loews Theater on Tremont Street, across from the Common. Police arrested Sylvester Cooper, an 18-year-old from Boston, on charges that he knifed three people inside the theater lobby. Each victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. [BPDNews]

-- Thomas Speed, a 38-year-old from Quincy, was shot to death in the South End. [BPDNews]

-- A jogger found a decomposing body in the Charles River on Monday. Police are investigating to see if there is any sign of foul play. [Herald]

All charges alleged until proven under law.
