College hockey here has been consistently good for as long as I can remember. It ultimately gets back to coaching. BC/BU especially have been producing high-caliber players for 30 years. NU is flourishing this winter, which is great for all of the programs.

It was indeed a great game to watch in person. The level at which these college athletes perform is astounding. Coming from an area with only club hockey at the college level I was surprised at the level of competition I saw. These guys are fast and they hit hard.

This was an exciting game to watch in person. I happened to sit directly in front of a platoon of approximately 50 Northeastern fans, all wearing Huskies jerseys, who chanted relentlessly throughout the game, cowing many nearby BU fans who were anemic in comparison. The Huskies fans got a little offensive at times, but overall they were entertaining. The hockey rivalry between these two schools is intense and fun to experience right now.
