  • It's unrelated to the string of possible arson attacks that have lit up Jamaica Plain, but Boston fire officials have declared that the Sunday morning fire that destroyed the New Fellowship Baptist Church in Dorchester was deliberately set. Globe

  • A drunk 44-year-old attacked his fellow patrons at an East Boston Dunkin' Donuts with a studded belt last night, police say. [BPDNews]

  • Kimberly Carmella Savini, a 30-year-old Somerville woman, was arraigned today for the December, 2008 stabbing murder of her boyfriend, 42-year-old Arnaldo Amado. Savini's attorney Maria Curtatone (Mayor Joe's sister) has claimed that Amado had been drunkenly assaulting Savini when the alleged stabbing took place. [Somerville Journal]

  • Kevin Linnell, a 44-year-old East Falmouth man, was arrested yesterday on charges of child rape. [Herald]
