Boston Blotter: Barros Convicted, 10-Year-Old Terror in Dorchester

Blotter-Body-Outline.jpg -- Casimiro Barros, 22, was convicted in the 2007 crossfire killing of Chiara Levin, a Kentucky woman who was visiting relatives in Boston. Levin was killed during a shoot-out outside of a Dorchester party. Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley had tried Barros on first-degree murder rap but was "satisfied" with the conviction on the lesser charge. [Herald]

-- A 45-year-old man says that he was robbed at knifepoint by a 10-year-old boy in Dorchester. [Herald]

-- Two men in ski masks allegedly invaded a home in West Roxbury last night, threatening its resident at gunpoint, and making off with some cash before police arrived at the scene and arrested one of them, a 26-year-old Revere man. [BPDNews]

-- A Somerville man dressed in a stolen police uniform made the mistake of assaulting an actual cop and found himself behind bars, according to authorities. [Somerville Journal]

All charges alleged until proven under law.
