Boston Blotter: Teens on Trial for Roxbury Stabbing

-- Two 17-year-old boys, Jamall Leslie, of Roxbury, and Tyre Wade, of Jamaica Plain, were arrested Thursday for allegedly stabbing a 22-year-old man who was waiting at a Silver LIne bus stop. Police say that Leslie was armed with a .40 caliber Smith and Wesson and that Wade carried a bloody knife. [Universal Hub]

-- A Boston cop accidentally shot his gun while demonstrating to a suspect the principle of committing one crime at a time. The 32-year-old suspect had been pulled over because of a loud muffler, but police say that they quickly discovered that his plates were illegitimate, he was driving on a suspended license, and he was carrying pot. The man fled police—it was during the pursuit when the cop accidentally fired his gun, allegedly harming nobody—and was ultimately booked on a vast assortment of charges. [BPDNews}

-- On Wednesday, police bagged an alleged cocaine dealer after he was spotted on Nazing Street in Roxbury with a gun. The gun arrest gave police cause to search the suspect's home, where 28 grams of cocaine were discovered. [BPDNews]

-- Dun Van Tran was found guilty today in Suffolk Superior Court of all charges related to the 2007 incident in which he set fire to his etranged wife's home, burning his own child and her babysitter. Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.

All charges alleged until proven under law.
