Opera

Opera Boston Underground follows up its Virtue cabaret with the inevitable Vice. Lots of Kurt Weill. Lizard Lounge, 1667 Mass. Ave., Cambridge, 7 p.m. $10 (No advance tickets; get there early). (CF).

Lieder

If Kurt Weill is too contemporary for you, the NEC presents Liederabend II, its second installmenet of German art song. Performances will include pieces by Schubert, Schumann, Strauss, and Wolf. Williams Hall, New England Conservatory, 33 Gainsborough St., 6:30 p.m. Free.

Soft Rock

Fate plays a dastardly trick on fans of the 1970s tonight when Hall & Oates and Fleetwood Mac perform at the same time in different venues.

Wine

South America is for Nazis, right? Wrong. It's also for winemakers. Our friends at the Second Glass wine magazine present their latest Crash Course Wine Seminar featuring the wines of South America. Take the T, though; Davis Square is going to be wicked overpopulated. Downtown Wine and Spirits, 225 Elm St., Somerville, 7 p.m. $15.
