Mass Innovation Nights start in April
For Boston-Metro area technology enthusiasts, the arrival of Mass Innovation Nights is a reason to celebrate as the beloved Boston Web Innovators Group events now have over 1,000 attendees and seem to be occurring with less frequency. By providing a new venue for product launches and to otherwise build company awareness, Mass Innovation Nights should develop a healthy following despite not being in the heart of Cambridge and despite our currently scary economy.
Roberta Carlton, a trustee at the Museum and one of the event organizers, said "A weak economy doesn’t stop the creative process but it can make it hard to connect buyers and sellers. The Mass Innovation Nights concept is designed to showcase the best of Massachusetts technology and innovation."
The events will be free and are scheduled from now through the end of 2009. Attendees are required to RSVP via the website and companies who are interested in showing off their wares should contact the organizers via the website in order to reserve a presentation slot.
In lieu of a fee, organizers are only asking that attendees use social media to get the word out about what the experience was like. Bostonist will be there on April 8th, so look for our report here.
