Craving something orchestral? Satisfy your hunger for culture and help others actual beat hunger pangs simultaneously this weekend, as the BSO hosts a food drive at Symphony Hall to benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank. Held in connection with Orchestras Feeding America, the food drives will accept donations from BSO ticket holders as well as the community at large. Drop by Symphony Hall's Massachusetts Avenue and Cohen Wing entrances to donate, or donate online for even greater convenience. Note that the drive can only accept canned food items, including canned tuna, chicken or other meats, canned vegetables and fruit, and canned juices, soups, and pasta. For safety reasons, the Greater Boston Food Bank does not accept baby food, baby formula, and glass containers.
