Boston Blotter: 4 Killed in Dorchester, 1 in Mattapan

Blotter-Body-Outline.jpg -- It was a bloody weekend in Boston. Four people were killed in two shootings Saturday night and early Sunday morning in Dorchester. The first shooting, on Ogden Street, claimed the life of 26-year-old Okwudill Onujiogwie, whom police found shot dead shortly after 8 p.m. The second shooting, on Mount Ida Road, claimed three, Anthony Perry, 19, of Boston, Shacora Gaines, 20, of Brockton and Chantal Palmer, 20, of Brockton, who were sitting in their car outside of a party. A fourth passenger survived the attack. Police have announced no leads in either case, but the mayor's spokeswoman Dot Joyce said that "Boston police plan to monitor social websites, such as MySpace, more closely to look for the advertisement of parties." -- Boston police raided two different residences on Edgemere Road in West Roxbury to serve two different search warrants over the course of two days this weekend. The raids allegedly turned up a small arsenal of guns and several hundred grams of crack. [Roslindale Transcript]
