The Bloody Beetroots play Bill's Bar tonight
The infamously masked electronica duo otherwise known as The Bloody Beetroots will be playing a pseudo-secret show at Bill's Bar tonight with doors opening at 10pm . Don't look for the Beetroots on Bill's website because they aren't there. We suggest getting tickets for a show that is sure to get everyone stomping.

This DJ duo plays music that harkens back to the—dare we say it—hardcore electronica sounds of 17 or so years ago (the old raver in this Bostonist wistfully remembers those good ol' days). This is dance music with heavy beats and wave-your-arms-in-the-air craziness. Only wear your Cat-in-the-Hat hat or pacifier with irony though, because these guys are updated and contemporary.

Check out this new Beetroots + Steve Aoki video to get a taste of what's going to happen. They're also offering MP3s for "Butter" and "Cornelius" off of their Cornelius EP released last December. Don't forget to rehydrate after the show.
