The NEC Contemporary Ensemble tackles the work of NEC faculty members John Greer, Michael Gandolfi, and Kati Agócs. The compositions range from opera to solo flute, and Stravinksy's Fanfare for Two Trumpets will be thrown in for good measure. Jordan Hall, New England Conservatory, 30 Gainsborough St., 8 p.m. Free.
