Here are this week's most awesome music picks for your enjoyment. Did we miss anything special? Send us an e-mail and we'll amend and add.

Tuesday April 21st

Tonight Of Montreal will freak out at the Paradise. Tickets are sold out, but it's definitely worth scalping/selling limbs on the black market for. Reports from last night’s show compare the festivities to ingesting mass amounts of elicit drugs. 7 PM, SOLD OUT, 18+

Boston music blog Ryan’s Smashing Life is hosting a night at Great Scott tonight, with notables the Lights Out and Logan 5 and the Runners.
18+, 9 PM, $8.00

Wednesday April 22nd

Boston underground post-rock trio Izze Creo will play their last set at O’Brien’s tonight. Expect sweeping moments of grandeur and the possibility of a broken drums (and hearts).
9 PM, 21+, $7.00

Break out some checkered vans and brush up on the appropriate way to skank in public (if such a thing exists), as ska-punk band Interrobang! headline Great Scott tonight. We haven’t heard supporting act Snakes in Suits, but feel that their name is genre defining.

Stephen Brodsky (of Cave-in, Pet Genius and an as of yet unnamed side project with Audrey Ryan) is at the Middle East upstairs tonight. Look here for some videos of him playing songs in a graveyard.

Thursday April 23rd

Big Digits is explosive live; sweaty, jazzercise beats guaranteed to get a crowd bumpin’. Check em out at the Middle East Upstairs tonight.
18+, $12

Remember Live? We don’t really either. But they did have a song on Buzz Ballads (maybe the best infomercial compilation album EVER) and their former lead singer is performing at Great Scott tonight. Maybe he’ll play that song.
18+, 8pm, $15

Friday April 24th

The Pill, as always, is at Great Scott tonight. Hands-down the best dance night in town.
21+ , 9 PM, $5.00

The WBCN Rock N’ Roll rumble will hold its final round at the Middle East Downstairs tonight. It's down to Gene Dante and the Future Starlets, The Dirty Truckers and the Luxury. Fame awaits! $18 - 21+

Gavin DeGraw is playing acoustic at Paradise. 8 PM - 18+

Saturday April 25th

The Shills will rock out at TT the Bear’s tonight. If you haven’t seen them yet, they’re definitely worth the trip to Cambridge.
18+, 9 PM, $9.00

The Appreciation Post has garnered a solid reputation in Boston as a dancy, nerdy punky, rock band. They’re playing a matinee performance today at the Middle East Upstairs.
1 pm, ALL AGES!, $10

Sunday April 26th

Get yo dance on with Youth Group at TT the Bear’s tonight. $8, 9 PM

And that's it! Check in next Monday for next week's Bostonist music picks.
