The Brattle's Robert Siodmak retrospective concludes with a double feature of noir classics. Criss Cross (1949) is not about strangers on a train. Instead, it's a femme fatale double-cross heist picture starring Burt Lancaster and Yvonne De Carlo. Phantom Lady (1944) is a case where casual infidelity leads to murder and mistaken identity.
