Boston CyberArts Festival from 4/24 - 5/10
The Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation Hosts the 6th annual Boston Cyberarts Festival from April 24th to May 10th. The Boston Cyberarts Festival is the largest collaboration of artists working in new technologies in all media in North America, encompassing visual arts, dance, music, electronic literature, web art, and public art.

The Gallery is worth checking out but we imagine that one will have to go to the museum to get the full intended effect of the pieces which include performances and sculpture. For specific days and times, use the (somewhat clunky) events selector page - we suggest using the "Browse All Events" button to peruse the astonishing list of 85 happenings at museums and other spaces over the 2 weeks of the festival.

The Charles River Museum of Industry will be the site of 2 exhibits and a one-night experimental installation. The two exhibits are “Another Side of In” which features the work of three Waltham based artists, Marjorie Minchin, Jamie Robertson and Mike Gordon, the internationally famous bass player from the band “Phish” and the other is “Go Modelmental!”, an exhibition of student and faculty work exploring the increasingly complex interplay between the virtual and the actual through a blend of multimedia, digital, and traditional modeling techniques with an emphasis on 3D printing sculpture, installation, video and animation.

Memories of the Charles Waterfall Project is a one night experimental public art/public memory initiative scheduled for Friday, May 1. This interactive art instillation is a complex series of still and moving images projected onto the Moody Street waterfall and the adjacent millpond.

Please check the events list to see the many other exhibits as it seems that every gallery and public space in the greater Boston area is participating.
