--A Chelsea court clerk, who was arrested on Febuary 27 on other charges, allegedly extorted sexual services from two women in 2005 and 2007, according to a six-count indictment returned by a grand jury yesterday. The accused allegedly had sex with each of the women inside of Chelsea District Court. Both women were facing prostitution charges at the time. The FBI recorded several phone calls involving the clerk and one woman in which the clerk reportedly asked her if having sex in a courtroom was "hot". [Boston Globe]
--A Massachusetts Superior Court Judge was arrested on April 15 for drunk driving is charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and violating marked lanes. According to the police, a samaritan first alerted police to the Judge's erratic driving. The Judge refused a Breathalyzer test, which resulted in a 180-day license suspension, and field sobriety tests. Police said balancing on one leg was impossible due to "hip surgery," according to the Herald. The accused has a pretrial hearing on May 8.

--Two adults, one man and one woman, were found dead at a Braintree motel on Wednesday. Norfolk D.A. spokesman David Traub said it is an apparent murder-suicide that the man initiated. No identification was released. [Boston Herald]
--The U.S. Probation Office has recommended that a 29-year old Dorchester woman be sent to "community confinement" after violating the terms of her house arrest. She pled guilty to wire fraud in February. She reportedly tried to blackmail her alleged john after providing him service as an escort. Her attorney did not comment.[Boston Herald]
